Hydraulic Circuit & Power Unit Design
Why do we ensure our technicians know their way around a circuit design?
When a hydraulic system has a hose burst or breakdown it can sometimes be traced back to another issue, like an incorrect component setting (for example).
Why take risks using repairers that can't read circuit designs?
There are many important "load" factors to consider when servicing and correctly setting a hydraulic system:
- High speeds
- High forces
- Simultaneous movement
- Do your loads move through an arc?
- Energy utilisation & efficiency
- Speed control
- Load control
- Gravitational forces (a major OH&S concern)
- Total cycle requirements
- OH&S requirements
If any of the above conditions exist, it is vital they are properly addressed.
