Hydraulic Service Fitter - Professional
If you are a qualified hydraulic fitter, here’s your chance to become a Hydraulic All-rounder.
We are looking to develop another Hydraulic trades person to become a real Hydraulic Specialist – not just someone who fixes hoses.
A permanent position exists for a fully qualified hydraulic fitter. The position is based in the well equipped workshop & the duties include:
- maintaining OH&S records & Company equipment
- servicing & repairing client’s equipment
- assistance on major installations.
If you want to further your experience in all things hydraulic, this is the place for you. You will work on an amazing variety of equipment in all shapes and sizes, as we serve many different industries, e.g. food, transport, construction, drilling and manufacturing just to name a few.
Occasionally you will work at the client’s site either alone or with our site engineers and you will be required to trouble shoot & diagnose the systems.
To be considered you must be:
- a competent all-round trades person
- fully qualified or an apprentice or currently studying in the hydraulic industry
- a reliable and self motivated person
- able to work as a part of a team and by yourself
- able to demonstrate:
- a working knowledge of hydraulic control systems and pump controls
- diagnostic skills
- a sound knowledge hydraulic hose, fittings and threads commonly used in this industry
- genuinely keen to work in this industry and further your skills
Any of the following will be an advantage:
- “D” Permit
- OH&S qualifications
- LR or MR truck license
- Riggers qualifications
- Fork lift license
- First aid Training
Remuneration will be based on your experience and skill level.
